Despite being in my mid-30s, I still get acne.
On a regular basis, I use the Clean & Clear toner with 2% salicylic acid at night, as well as the Noxzema Anti-Blemish face pads in the morning, which has 2% salicylic acid as well.
Salicylic acid helps to fight acne by dissolving skin debris that clog pores and by acting as an anti-inflammatory.
When I find myself breaking out, I apply a crème with salicylic acid at night to the acne spot and hope that my acne clears hope.
Another tip to help fight acne is to put hot water on a washcloth and hold it on the acne spot for a good 5-10 seconds. Some articles suggest using ice on pimples, but that’s never worked for me. When I apply heat to my pimples with this trick, they shrink in size.
