Why did black and blonde hair popularity skyrocket in January 2012? I honestly don’t know!

I hypothesized that July 2012 was when Avril Lavigne dyed her hair black and blonde, but I don’t think she colored her hair blonde on top and black underneath until more recently.

3. Use a Purple Shampoo Once a Week

Blonde hair can get brassy over time. Use a purple shampoo once a week. I personally LOVE Oligo Blacklight Purple shampoo.

Fanola No Yellow is also really good. For a drugstore shampoo, go with L’Oreal purple shampoo.
